The Commence Designer Edition Version 3.5 is scheduled for release in the fall of this year. While a number of end user and developer enhancements are scheduled, one of the most significant components of the release is its compatibility with Microsoft Vista and Office 2007 which will be substantially different from their current product offering.  Version 3.5 is also being designed to make it easier for you to manage your daily business with enhancements to common tasks such as managing and sending e-mail, letters and documents and ensuring that the user interface closely matches the newer standards for windows applications. 

Enhancements are also being made to the database API, Active X functionality as well as agents, desktops, views and detail forms.  A new synchronization monitor is also planned for Version 3.5, which will graphically illustrate when the synchronization process begins and is completed.  Additional information about Version 3.5 will be available on the Commence web site, www.commence.com, in the near term.
