Commence Competes With Salesforce.com in Busy CRM Space
Larry Caretsky, CEO of Commence Corporation was recently interviewed by industry journalist Tom Cutler about the company's introduction of Commence On Demand, a new web-based CRM solution that is delivered over the Internet at a fixed monthly fee. Caretsky discusses the company's rational for entering the space, its competitive advantages and the reasons he believes the product will enjoy a high degree of success with existing customers and new businesses migrating from lower end contact managers. When asked if future product offerings from Commence would be based on Internet technology, Caretsky indicated that the company hopes to merge the strength of their desktop offering with that of the Internet.
