COMMENCE PRODUCT UPDATES

Commence RM Version 3.5.1 is the latest product release and extends the functionality of Version RM 3.5. The release is designed to support the myriad of enhancements incorporated in Microsoft's new Vista Operating System and Office 2007 while ensuring the maximum performance of Commence. Several of these changes while substantial will not be readily visible to the end user. What is visible in RM 3.5.1 are new tool bars and view bars that are similar to those of Microsoft Office applications.

The synchronization engine, which ensures that all employees have the most up to date information now, includes a status bar that illustrates where you are in the synchronization process. Additional reporting is now incorporated in the WorkGroup Expert tool making it easier to diagnose synchronization problems that may arise. Other improvements include:

  • Enhanced sales force automation application
  • Improved synchronization with automatic retry after any file transfer errors
  • Microsoft Office integration updates
